Snowpug`s Small But Tough "Knøtte"
"Knøtte" is a very small little pug - he is far much smaller than other male dogs and weighs around 7 kilos. Although he`s small, he is very compact and his size matches totally and completely - he is multum in parvo.
This little man "Knøtte" - is a very special little pug. He is 1 of 5 offspring from our S-litter born January 31, 2016. He was incredibly small when he was born and I had to bottle him up in order for him to be able to survive. It also turned out that he had a palate in the back of his palate - which is why he couldn't drink milk from his mum "Angel".
Most people I know, advised me to go to the vet to take him away - this since they thought he was not going to grow up - and in addition that he could`nt be used for anything for the purpose of what I needed. I`m of the opinion that - "where there is life, there is hope" - and I would`nt give up on him. I wanted to give the puppy a chance to grow up - thinking that if he did - well then he would of course be allowed to stay. The job I did with "Knøtte" gave count - and he growed up to be a lovely little pug with a marvelous personality. He is a very special boy where he thinks he is a small Arab horse. Yes, he probably believes this - as he trots around in the same line as the Arabs do.
His peculiar characteristic is that he has his tongue out pretty much all the time. This is in addition to the palate split that he can only eat dry food and he has always grabbed his food with his tongue instead of teeth, as most dogs do.
He uses to be with me on various trips as a travel company together with the show dogs - something he loves incredibly much!
We have found out how little "Knøtte" works and he has a very good life here with the rest of the dogs as the kennel's mascot. We love our little special boy!
….where there is life, there is hope...
I am so happy for that I dared to trust my own "gut feeling" and was not influenced by other people's opinions - because I would not have been besides our lovely little mascot!
